Aisling Bea

Aisling B a is born on 16 March, 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She has appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh or Aisling "Bea", is an Irish actor as well as a writer. Born on March 16th 1984. Bea started her professional career in stand-up comedy in 2011, following small parts she played for Irish and British television dramas starting in 2009. She began appearing regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms in 2012. After her victory in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was invited to appear on a number of panel show. She was a captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016 to 2017 and was an ongoing contestant on its spinoff, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. In 2012, she became the first woman ever to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny award. Bea was presented with the award in memory of her father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan, born Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Her father Brian was an equine veterinarian who committed suicide when Bea was just three years old. She wasn't told about what happened to him until she was thirteen. Bea was her stage name. Bea is a tribute to her father. Bea published an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience of suicide. Bea was fostered by her older sister Sinead by Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer and former professional racer. Their parents were both obsessed with horses and racing. Bea began her career as tourist guides for the Irish National Stud. But she quickly realized that her true passion was acting, not racing.
